About forty studies for adults, on folklore and the child, children's cinema, the disabled child, children's rights, the Muslim child's literature, and reading. His *Guide for Intelligent Parents* sold two printings of 10,000 copies each. These works made him a theorist of Arab children's culture as well as its most prolific writer.
